Day 1: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi – Boulevard Hotel
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, our tour guide will be waiting to take you to the Boulevard Hotel, where you will relax and be ready for the following safari day. Overnight at the Boulevard Hotel.
Day 2: Boulevard Hotel – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast we depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. On the way there you will have time to observe wildlife on your way to the lodge or camp. Check-in at the lodge / camp for lunch. The afternoon game drive takes you to the lake to see flamingos and pelicans, as well as herds of white rhino, black rhino, Rothschild giraffe, waterbuck and other African wildlife. Lake Nakuru National Park attracts a variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
Morning game drives and then after breakfast departure to Lake Naivasha. Arrival there for lunch. Enjoy a boat trip (extra charge) on the lake to see hippos, birds and other species of African wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara National Reserve
Breakfast in the early morning, then drive along the Great Rift Valley, past the extinct volcano Mount Longonot. Game drives will take place on the way to the Masai Mara National Reserve as well as on the way to check-in for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon game drives take place in this fascinating animal paradise with the chance to see giraffes, elephants, monkeys, leopards, lions, gazelles and other bird species. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
5 Day: Masai Mara
Spend a whole day observing wildlife in the Masai Mara National Reserve, with morning and afternoon game drives. There is a great opportunity to see the “Big Five”: Lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard. Gnus, zebras, cheetahs, gazelles and other species of African wildlife can also be easily spotted. Experience the famous gnu and zebra hike (from Serengeti National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve); this mass hike is one of the wonders of the world. The Masai Mara is the territory of the Great Animal Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeests, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles that takes place in an annual survival race in search of enough water and grass over a distance of 1200 miles. Breakfast, lunch and dinner with overnight stay are provided at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 6: Masai Mara – Isbenia border – Serengeti
Breakfast early in the morning and then a long game drive starts for you through the Mara with lunch packages from Mara Sopa Lodge or Fig Tree Camp on the way to Serengeti National Park. At the border, it takes about 45 minutes to process the visa and enter Tanzania, after which you will drive on to the Serengeti. The drive will take 3 hours to the main gate. You will be accompanied by our Tanzanian driver-guide. Lunch is on the way. Game drives on the way to the lodge. Arrival at the lodge for dinner. Dinner and overnight at Four Seasons Serengeti Safari Lodge (formerly Bilila Lodge Kempinski).
Day 7: Serengeti
Spend a whole day in the Serengeti with morning game drives and in the afternoon. Experience untouched nature in this famous national park. Dinner and overnight at Four Seasons Serengeti Safari Lodge.
Day 8: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Nature Reserve
After breakfast, departure to the Ngorongoro Nature Reserve (with lunch packages from Four Season Serengeti Safari Lodge), which is reached at early noon. Afterwards (12:00 o’clock) we will drive by safari jeep to the bottom of the crater for game viewing in this unique sanctuary. Rhinos, lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffalos and hippos. Dinner and overnight at Gibbs Farm (full board).
Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast departure to Lake Manyara National Park, arrival for lunch. In the afternoon game drives with the opportunity to see various species of African wildlife, including the large elephants. Dinner and overnight at Manyara Wildlife Camp or Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge ( 5 stars) or Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 10: Lake Manyara – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast departure to Amboseli National Park, with a clear view of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. We drive across the Namanga border, arriving in Amboseli in the late afternoon for lunch at camp and check-in. In the evening game viewing from 16:00. The park is home to elephants, gnus and buffalos, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, monkey families and rare bird species. In the early evening, when the clouds are gone, you can clearly see the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli Camp.
Day 11: Amboseli – Nairobi Airport
Early morning game drive before breakfast and then another short game drive on the way out of camp before returning to Nairobi with lunch in Nairobi. Arrival late afternoon with transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport / Nairobi Hotel (breakfast & lunch).
