Kenia Safari in excellence We are a couple in the 70th and have a lot of experience in safaris in Africa.
This 12 days tour in July/August 2023 was the first tour in Kenia. The travel agency Marco Polo was a great help with the preparation, visa formalities and further planning. We were satisfied with the itinary and the accommodations. Our driver and guide Bonnie accompanied us very caring and extremely competent.We felt in good hands with him all the time.

Beautiful trip Two day trip to Tsavo East, Absolutely the best Safari trip with Marcopoloh, our driver Richard was really good at finding all the places where we could see the animals. 7 day safari - Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha lakes Amazing 7-days safari to Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha from Nairobi organized by Marco Polo. We were only two friends who did safari in Kenya for the first time. Marco Polo designed a tailored-made trip for us just the way we liked it! We had Bonface (Bonnie) as a Guide-Driver who was fun, caring, patient and supportive. He has amazing skills and luck in spotting animals that led us to have not only the chance for observing wildlife as long as we liked but most importantly to be in the right place in the right time to have best spots for shots and be close to animals. Imagine leopard walking or hiena chilling 4 meters away from your car. He knew when to wait a bit or when to leave! Unforgettable trip, great atmosphere. We will be back on a safari with Marco Polo again!!!

Amazing experience! Flying over the wildgrass in Masai Mara Reserve is unforgettable. Marco recommended us beautiful camp- Oloshaika Camp. Although, it may not be as popular as Mara Engai, it was all worth it, wonderful interior and friendly staff, that made our stay even more pleasant. Highly recommend Marco Polo Tours and Safaris. Check it out if you are near Mwabungu/ Diani Beach, its office is opposite Neptune Hotels.

Shimba Hills 1 day & Wasini Island 1 day Our trip to Shimba Hills was fantastic, our guide was great and very knowledgeable about the wildlife in the park. The waterfall was spectacular and the hike was actually really enjoyable as you get the see parts of the park that you wouldn't get to see by vehicle. Our lunch at Shimba Green Lodge was great with amazing views! Considering we had been to Amboseli and Tsavo prior to this trip where we saw so much wildlife, Shimba was great as it is completely different with some unique wildlife like the Sable antelope.

Our trip to Wasini Island was also fantastic! We saw dolphins on route to the Marine park which was a bonus as it is never a given to actually see them. The Marine park itself is great with great coral and wildlife, we saw 2 octopus and a lot of big Unicorn fish. As we had some people on board that weren't the most confident swimmers we then went to an amazing shallow part of the marine park where you are waste height in the middle of the sea which was amazing, the water was so still and the sand was beautiful. We then had lunch which was absolutely delicious, you have to try the crab. On route back to the mainland the guides performed songs which was such a lovely end to the trip!
