Professional travel agency We booked a 1-day safari. First good impression. Our driver was there before time and handed over some cool water bottles. Since there were two of us with Amos, we had the pleasure of a private safari. Other providers cancel here partly with too few participants.As it turned out later, our driver Amos was really great. Not only did he track down and expertly describe more animals during the safari, he was also there when our vehicle had a flat tire and was able to repair it expertly and quickly. In the meantime, we spoke on the phone with Marco, who, as the head of the travel agency, proactively inquired about our well-being and apologized for the inconvenience. Very well done!All around a nice day with good experiences.

Car arrived early for our private excursion .
Tickets etc all quickly dealt with at harbour. We had a big dhow with mv safoo.
Mohammed and friends looked after us brilliantly especially pulling my wife around the coral area as she s not such great swimmer.
We saw dolphins
Had two snorkeling sessions on the reef.
So many fish it was amazing .
Grouper , stone fish , turtle and shoals of all kinds.
I would go again at the drop of a hat and I ve snorkelled all around the world inckuding the barrier reef Egypt maldives Thailand , and it was an excellent experience well led by the mv safoo team.
Lunch was beautiful and fresh and arrived by boat including lobster (2,000shillingx extra but worth it)

Great safari with knowledgable guide This was originally a booking to travel in 2020 and had to be postponed due to Covid. Rising cost of airfares and airline cancellations meant I had to make several changes. Marco Polo were very prompt in responding and flexible which was so helpful. The safari itself was amazing. We saw elephants, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, hippos, monkeys, lions, buffalo, crocodiles, warthogs and more. Our guide was informative with 20 years of experience under his belt. Both accommodations were good, clean, offered good food and viewing areas for the wildlife. We stayed at Sentrim Tsavo Camp and Kilaguni Serena Lodge. Kilaguni was definitely my favourite out of the 2. We had the best view at breakfast watching the animals. It was unforgettable! The jeep was in good condition and I wouldn't hesitate to book with Marco Polo again. We enjoyed Tsavo East and West this time. I'd love to go back and see Maasai Mara next time. Unforgettable 3-Day Safari with the Perfect Guide Amos – The Absolute Highlight of Our Trip! This 3-day safari was simply breathtaking and exceeded all our expectations. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, and the wildlife sightings were incredible – elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and even lions in their natural habitat. Every game drive was an unforgettable adventure. We were fortunate to explore both Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park, which gave us a wonderful variety of landscapes and wildlife experiences.

There was a small change regarding our accommodation on the first night: due to overbooking, our originally planned stay at Sentrim Lodge was not available. We were informed the evening before and asked if the change was okay with us. After giving our approval, we were upgraded to Ashnil Aruba Lodge, which truly felt like a fantastic upgrade. The lodge was beautiful and perfectly located by a waterhole, where we could watch animals gather right in front of us.

On the second night, we stayed at the spectacular Salt Lick Safari Lodge, built on stilts overlooking a waterhole. Watching elephants come in during the evening was simply magical and something we will never forget.

A very special thank you goes to our guide, Amos. He was absolutely outstanding – professional, friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. His experience and sharp eye made it possible for us to see so many amazing animals. He always made us feel safe and comfortable, answered all our questions with passion, and truly went above and beyond to give us the best possible safari experience. Amos made this trip extra special, and we are deeply grateful for his dedication and kindness.

Conclusion: A perfectly arranged safari with incredible wildlife sightings in both Tsavo East and Tsavo West, outstanding accommodations, and exceptional service. Marco Polo for your Tsavo game drive adventure! The only one to do a one day trip. It was a great adventure! The way to the parc in the morning is an adventure at it self. With the morning traffic. Pius was not only a great driver, he also was a great wild-spotter.
