Excellent safari in the Masai Mara My colleagues and I had a wonderful two-night safari in the Masai Mara organised by Marco Polo. Everything about it was excellent - the hotel pick-up from Shanzu, the flights from Mombasa and back to Mombasa (3 of us) and Ukunda (one of us), and the pick-up from Ukunda airport - all brilliant and on time. Our stay at Fig Tree Camp was superb, out driver Julius was hugely knowledgeable about the animals and a real expert in getting our vehicle into great viewing positions. We saw all 'the big five' and very much more besides. The safari far exceeded our expectations and nothing was too much trouble for Julius or for Fig Tree. We were looking for a mid-range safari option and this was excellent value. We cannot fault it and highly recommend Marco Polo, Mombasa Air Safaris and Fig Tree Camp. Thank you Marco for organising such a great trip for us!

Masai Mara safari with Marco Polo Safaris was amazing experience Amazing experience! Flying over the wildgrass in Masai Mara Reserve is unforgettable. Marco recommended us beautiful camp- Oloshaika Camp. A once-in-a-lifetime experience We booked a 2-day safari to Tsavo East with Marco Polo Tours, and it was an absolutely amazing adventure! We saw elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, different kinds of antelopes, monkeys, and many beautiful birds. Experiencing all these animals in their natural habitat was truly breathtaking. The savannah was stunning, the program was active and well organized. A once-in-a-lifetime experience — highly recommended!

We were actually very surprised that a hotel in the middle of savannah would be so comfortable. We also used Marco Polo Tours for transfer from our hotel, as our tour operator wanted to pick us up too early before the flight. The driver came right in time and the transfer went smoothly.

I was quite anxious before the trip as I didn’t know what to expect: this was my first safari experience. But everything went extremely smoothly. Our guide Richard was very nice, he showed us quite a lot of animals and told us a lot about savannah and Kenya. We saw many lions, a leopard, a giraffe, elephants, zebras, and other animals and birds. Accommodation was nice too: Marco Polo offers packages with quite nice hotels. We were actually very surprised that a hotel in the middle of savannah would be so comfortable. We also used Marco Polo Tours for transfer from our hotel, as our tour operator wanted to pick us up too early before the flight. The driver came right in time and the transfer went smoothly.

Good safari expérience as a woman solo traveller As a solo french woman, I went on safari at the beginning of January with Marco Polo Safari in front of my Neptune hôtel.
About my experience :
Elijah was a super driver with good interactions and easy to talk , also safe drive and protective, I really appreciate having him as a guide.
For the safari, at least its a lottery and unfortunelly it wasnt full of animals like I could expect but it was ok. I understand that's the game and I m already feel lucky and grateful to saw éléphants, buffalos, girafes, zebras, and quickly quickly one lion. 😁 Good experience !
