Communication with Marco before the trip was fast and clear – he helped us arrange the dates and payment, and everything went smoothly.

Our guide Amos was experienced, friendly, and an excellent driver. We saw so many animals – elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffalos etc. – and the stay at Saltlick Lodge was absolutely breathtaking.

Amazing safari and Kisite-Mpunguti marine park We went on a one-day Tsavo East safari, and it was amazing. Everything was arranged perfectly and we had the best time! We saw zebras, elephants, giraffes, lion, ostrich, impala and lots more. Later during our holiday we wanted to go to the Kisite-Mpunguti marine park, and because of the nice experience we booked it via Marco Polo again. It did not disappoint! Everything was perfect again, and snorkeling there was beautiful. We also saw a sea turtle and a group of dolphins came swimming with us! Thank you Marco Polo, we had a great time.

Amazing Safari- Tsavo East We recently returned from our wonderful holiday in Kenya. While staying at Diani beach, we booked a 2 night / 3 day safari with Marco at Marco Polo Safaris who was very helpful. It was amazing and we were looked after by Michael who was fantastic during our safari. From the first moment our family was in super capable and professional hands with Michale going out of his way to accommodate what we wanted to get from our short safari. We traveled to Tsavo East and stayed at the Ashnil Aruba Lodge. We knew the risk of going during the wet season and Michael went out of his way to ensure we saw as much as possible. He has an amazing ability to spot wildlife and managed to give us the opportunity to see everything we wanted to see. Michael really looked after us, has a super professional yet relaxed and accommodating approach and is a very safe driver. We went with our two children (11 & 13) and honestly it was a trip that will be remembered by our family as an incredible experience forever. Should we ever return to Kenya and look to do a safari again in future we would 100% want Michael to take us out again. Our thanks to Michael and Marco!

Safari with Michael Amazing time with Michael on Safari from Marco Polo Safaris. I really recommend them - they really knows what they are doing and doing it in the best way. We had our trip with Michael - 7 days safari starting in Nairobi up to Diani Beach and visiting on the way Masai Mara, Nakuru Lake Amboseli, Tsavo East & West. Michael was our guide and he is amazing person - very knowledgeable, experienced, knowing a lot about animals' habits and how to find the very best spot (and very close) to watch them. He is able notice animals out from nowhere - many times we had opportunity to spend long time with animals (lions, cheetah etc.) without anyone around. And yes - we saw big 5 and much, much more 🙂 Michael is very joyful, flexible, patient and listened our needs all the way long. His positive attitude and smile was with us all the time making that day fly away very quickly with positive energy. Thanks to him this trip was unforgettable! Worth to add that also organizational perspective all was amazing and Marco who organized everything was easily reachable and responded promptly on our all questions. On top of safari we had Nairobi tour & Wasini Island trip which was also organized by Marco and it went perfectly. On Wasini we were positively surprised when we learned that Marco book for us lunch in smaller and less touristic place with amazing sea-food where we could rest from tourists. 8 day Safari We did an 8 day safari going through Masi Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli and Tsavo East. We were picked up from Nairobi airport and then started the Safari, ending on the coast at Diani Beach where we spend a few nights before flying back to Nairobi.
We booked with Marco via their website and confirmed all the details over email and whatsapp. Marco was very helpful and answered all our questions (we also requested a cycle trip at Hells Gate which Marco arranged for us). We paid a 50% deposit by bank transfer and the balance was paid to the driver at the start of the safari in USD cash. The reason for the cash payment is because it is needed to pay the park and lodge fees (this is normal practice).
The safari itself was amazing, we travelled and did the game drives in a large jeep where the roof can be risen allowing you to stand up and get a 360 view of all the animals around you. We saw the big five and many many more animals.
Our driver was called Michael and was wonderful. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the animals, parks and landscapes. He is also well connected with the other game drivers and they work together to find the animals so you have the best chance of seeing them. We visited 5 different parks which meant a lot of different terrains and weather conditions, Michael knew all the parks well (which is not very common as most drivers only go to 1 or 2 parks). He is also a skilled driver in terms of managing the different weather conditions so we always felt very safe.
The accommodation Marco arranged was all very nice and luxurious (mainly tented camps and lodges), we felt very spoilt!
We went go to Diani Beach Marco also helped us with arranging a snorkeling trip.
I cannot recommend Marco and Michael enough, our safari trip was perfectly organised and such an amazing experience.

Highly recommended Marco Kamami - who was recommended to us - arranged a fantastic safari for us; the transfers to and from the plain, the resort, the gamedrive with fantastic guide, it was all very well organised. And for a reasonable price. So: highly recommended!
