Tsavo East/Tahita Hills safari/Wasini island tour Amazing! This is a must-do experience and Marco was at our disposal while choosing which was the best option for us for the safari. We went with Michael and he was very nice! Maybe we would have liked to have more information during the safari about the animals and nature but he was alone and he tried really hard to let us view all the animals so we are really thankful! Probably we weren't very lucky because we didn't see all of the animals present on the parks but still it is an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend Marco Polo Safaris. The jeep was super comfortable (which is important), the lodges very nice as well as the views there 🤩
I would also suggest the Wasini island tour if you are staying at Diani beach. They showed us a poor village on the island and we saw the dolphins, therefore a nice day at sea while also getting to learn more about the local reality.

We had an 11 day safari with Marco Polo safaris and it was the best experience. I enquired with many companies before travelling and Marco was great at replying and giving advice on the best way to do such a long safari which included an internal flight and a hot air balloon trip. There is always a worry about making payments in advance but that's where trust is essential and I would not hesitate to use Marco again or to recommend him and his company to anyone. He even booked and arranged our hotel at Diani beach which saved us time and effort. We had 2 drivers for our Safari. Michaeal Kimeu took us on the first half and he was just the best. Michael was a careful and considerate driver, had a great, genuine personality and did everything he could to get us to see the animals. Boniface (Bonnie) was our second driver and he was equally good. He took us to all the beautiful spots and managed to get us to see some amazing sites of lions straight after a kill (not for the faint hearted!). As I said before, I would definitely recommend Marco Polo safaris and I hope you get to see all of the things we saw plus more.

We had an 11 day safari with Marco Polo safaris and it was the best experience. I enquired with many companies before travelling and Marco was great at replying and giving advice on the best way to do such a long safari which included an internal flight and a hot air balloon trip. There is always a worry about making payments in advance but that's where trust is essential and I would not hesitate to use Marco again or to recommend him and his company to anyone. He even booked and arranged our hotel at Diani beach which saved us time and effort. We had 2 drivers for our Safari. Michaeal Kimeu took us on the first half and he was just the best. Michael was a careful and considerate driver, had a great, genuine personality and did everything he could to get us to see the animals. Boniface (Bonnie) was our second driver and he was equally good. He took us to all the beautiful spots and managed to get us to see some amazing sites of lions straight after a kill (not for the faint hearted!). Amazing snorkeling with mv safoo Quick booking through captain Hussain (beach boy) and Marco polo travel.
Day to Wasini island .
Car arrived early for our private excursion .
Tickets etc all quickly dealt with at harbour. We had a big dhow with mv safoo.
Mohammed and friends looked after us brilliantly especially pulling my wife around the coral area as she s not such great swimmer.
We saw dolphins
Had two snorkeling sessions on the reef.
So many fish it was amazing .
Grouper , stone fish , turtle and shoals of all kinds.
I would go again at the drop of a hat and I ve snorkelled all around the world inckuding the barrier reef Egypt maldives Thailand , and it was an excellent experience well led by the mv safoo team.
Lunch was beautiful and fresh and arrived by boat including lobster (2,000shillingx extra but worth it)
Lovely day all round
Cost $150 each 300 total
A private excursion lunch included.

Animal paradise We enjoyed the experience of safari with Marco Polo in three days and two nights: we have seen both Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Our driver, Amos, has been the perfect guide!
