Safari from Nairobi to the Aberdares, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha and back to Nairobi.
Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdare’s
Marco Polo Safaris representative will Pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport in the morning and depart Nairobi to Aberdare’s. The drive will be 3 and half hours to the Aberdare Country club for check in and have your lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to The Ark lodge through Aberdare park which has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you! Later dinner and overnight at The Ark hotel.
Day 2: Aberdare – Lake Nakuru
Early morning breakfast, after your breakfast leave Aberdare for Lake Nakuru a 4 and half hours drive, passing through Equator line a few metres away from the equator line towards the northern side, the water spins clockwise. Towards the southern, spins anticlockwise … just amazing. You will pass through Great Rift Valley escarpment, arriving in time for lunch and check in at the Lodge. Later afternoon game drives across the Pink Lake often referred so due to it’s great masses of Flamingos, but currently due to climate change and high water levels, only few flamingos can be seen, not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Flamingo Hill Tented Camp.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara. The drive will be 5 hours to the main gate, passing through Narok Town which is the famous Masai town arriving at the Camp or Lodge in time for check in and lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhino members of the Big five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight at Fig Tree Camp or Olumara Camp or Oloshaiki Mara Camp.
Day 4: Masai Mara
Early morning game drive before breakfast and return to your camp for breakfast. After breakfast full day spent in the park with packed lunch boxes in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara River. Later Meals and overnight at Dinner and overnight at Fig Tree Camp or Olumara Camp or Oloshaiki Mara Camp.
Day 5: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha
Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Masai Mara for Lake Naivasha. The drive will be 5 hours to the lodge ,arriving in time for check in and lunch. Later in the afternoon game drive with a visit to Hells Gate National Park which allows walking safari, Hiking, Bicycling ride, Rock climbing. Altenativery you might have a boat trip along the lake to watch different types of Birds or visit the Crescent island. Later dinner and overnight at Naivasha Sopa Lodge or Naivasha Kongoni Lodge.
Day 6: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi City
Early morning breakfast at your lodge. Then Check out and drive to Nairobi city, arriving in time for lunch. Lunch at Carnivore and afterwards drop off at your respective hotel or Airport around 3pm.
Optional to our clients with Flight to Mombasa/Diani Beach can be transferred to the Airport at 2:00 pm for afternoon Flight to Ukunda Airstrip or Moi Airport ( Mombasa), arriving at around 4.30 pm. Then drop off to your coastal Hotel.

Jour 1 : Nairobi – Aberdare
Un représentant de Marco Polo Safaris viendra vous chercher le matin à votre hôtel à Nairobi ou à l’aéroport et vous conduira de Nairobi à Aberdare. Le trajet dure 3,5 heures jusqu’à l’Aberdare Country Club, où vous vous enregistrerez et déjeunerez. Après le déjeuner, vous serez transféré à travers le parc d’Aberdare jusqu’au lodge The Ark, qui dispose de quatre ponts d’observation avec balcons et salons pour permettre une excellente observation des animaux depuis le confort du lodge. Les animaux viennent à vous ! Dîner et nuit à l’hôtel The Ark.
Jour 2 : Aberdare – Lac Nakuru
Tôt le matin, après le petit-déjeuner, vous quittez les Aberdare pour le lac Nakuru, en 4,5 heures de route. À quelques mètres de là, le long de la ligne de l’équateur, du côté nord, l’eau tourne dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre. Vers le côté sud, il tourne dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre … tout simplement incroyable. Vous passez l’escarpement de la vallée du Grand Rift et arrivez à temps pour le déjeuner et l’enregistrement au lodge. Plus tard dans l’après-midi, vous traverserez le lac Pink, souvent appelé ainsi en raison de ses grandes masses de flamants roses, mais actuellement, en raison du changement climatique et des niveaux d’eau élevés, il y a peu de flamants roses à voir, sans parler des célèbres rhinocéros blancs et noirs que l’on trouve dans le parc. Dîner et nuit au Lake Nakuru Lodge ou au Flamingo Hill Tented Camp.
Jour 3 : Lac Nakuru – Masai Mara
Petit-déjeuner matinal. Après le petit-déjeuner, vous quittez le lac Nakuru pour le Masai Mara. Le trajet dure environ 5 heures jusqu’à la porte principale, en passant par Narok Town, la célèbre ville Masai, et vous atteindrez le camp ou le lodge à temps pour l’enregistrement et le déjeuner. L’après-midi, vous traverserez le parc à la recherche de lions, de léopards, d’éléphants, de buffles et de rhinocéros, qui font partie des Big Five, ainsi que d’autres animaux. Dîner et nuit au Fig Tree Camp ou Olumara Camp ou Oloshaiki Mara Camp.
Jour 4 : Masai Mara
Safari matinal avant le petit-déjeuner et retour à votre camp pour le petit-déjeuner. Après le petit-déjeuner, vous passerez toute la journée dans le parc, avec des paniers-repas, à la recherche de ses habitants les plus populaires, tels que les prédateurs bien connus et leurs homologues comme les zèbres, les gnous, les girafes, les hippopotames et les dangereux crocodiles, avec une visite de la rivière Mara. Repas ultérieurs et nuit au Fig Tree Camp ou Olumara Camp ou Oloshaiki Mara Camp.
Jour 5 : Masai Mara – Lac Naivasha
Petit-déjeuner matinal. Après le petit-déjeuner, vous quittez le Masai Mara pour le lac Naivasha. Le trajet dure environ 5 heures jusqu’au lodge où vous arrivez à temps pour l’enregistrement et le déjeuner. Plus tard dans l’après-midi, safari avec visite du parc national de Hells Gate, qui propose des promenades, des randonnées, des balades à vélo et de l’escalade. Le soir, faites une promenade en bateau sur le lac pour observer différentes espèces d’oiseaux ou visitez l’île Crescent. Dîner et nuit au Naivasha Sopa Lodge ou au Naivasha Kongoni Lodge.
Jour 6 : Lac Naivasha – Nairobi City
Petit-déjeuner matinal à votre lodge. Puis départ et route vers la ville de Nairobi, arrivée à temps pour le déjeuner. Déjeuner au Carnivore, puis retour à votre hôtel ou aéroport vers 15 heures.
En option, nos clients se rendant à Mombasa/Diani Beach peuvent être transférés à l’aéroport à 14h00 pour un vol de l’après-midi à destination de la piste d’atterrissage d’Ukunda ou de l’aéroport Moi (Mombasa), dont l’arrivée est prévue vers 16h30. Puis transfert à votre hôtel sur la côte.

Tag 1: Nairobi – Aberdare’s
Ein Vertreter von Marco Polo Safaris wird Sie morgens von Ihrem Hotel in Nairobi oder vom Flughafen abholen und von Nairobi nach Aberdare fahren. Die Fahrt dauert 3,5 Stunden zum Aberdare Country Club, wo Sie einchecken und Ihr Mittagessen einnehmen. Nach dem Mittagessen werden Sie durch den Aberdare Park zur The Ark Lodge gebracht, die über vier Aussichtsdecks mit Balkonen und Lounges verfügt, um eine hervorragende Wildbeobachtung vom Komfort der Lodge aus zu ermöglichen. Die Tiere kommen zu Ihnen! Später Abendessen und Übernachtung im The Ark Hotel.
Tag 2: Aberdare – Nakuru See
Frühmorgens nach dem Frühstück verlassen Sie die Aberdare´s zum Lake Nakuru auf einer ein 4,5 Stunden Fahrt, ein paar Meter entfernt an der Äquator-Linie entlang in Richtung der nördlichen Seite, das Wasser dreht sich dort im Uhrzeigersinn. Zur südlichen Seite hin dreht es sich gegen den Uhrzeigersinn … einfach erstaunlich. Sie passieren den Great Rift Valley Steilhang und kommen rechtzeitig zum Mittagessen und Einchecken in der Lodge an. Später am Nachmittag dann Pirschfahrt über den Pink Lake, der oft so genannt wird wegen seiner großen Massen an Flamingos, aber derzeit sind aufgrund des Klimawandels und des hohen Wasserstandes nur wenige Flamingos zu sehen, nicht zu vergessen die berühmten Breitmaulnashörner und Spitzmaulnashörner, die in diesem Park vorkommen. Abendessen und Übernachtung in der Lake Nakuru Lodge oder im Flamingo Hill Tented Camp.
Tag 3: Nakuru See – Masai Mara
Frühmorgens Frühstück. Nach dem Frühstück verlassen Sie den Lake Nakuru in Richtung Masai Mara. Die Fahrt dauert ca. 5 Stunden bis zum Haupttor, vorbei an Narok Town, der berühmten Masai-Stadt, und Sie erreichen das Camp oder die Lodge rechtzeitig zum Einchecken und Mittagessen. Nachmittags Pirschfahrt durch den Park auf der Suche nach Löwen, Leoparden, Elefanten, Büffeln und Nashörnern, die zu den Big Five gehören, sowie anderen Tieren. Abendessen und Übernachtung im Fig Tree Camp oder Olumara Camp oder Oloshaiki Mara Camp.
Tag 4: Masai Mara
Frühmorgens Pirschfahrt vor dem Frühstück und Rückkehr zu Ihrem Camp zum Frühstück. Nach dem Frühstück verbringen Sie den ganzen Tag im Park mit Lunchpaketen auf der Suche nach seinen beliebten Bewohnern wie den bekannten Raubtieren und ihren Gegenspielern wie Zebra, Gnu, Giraffe, Flusspferd und den gefährlichen Krokodilen mit einem Besuch des Mara Flusses. Spätere Mahlzeiten und Übernachtung im Fig Tree Camp oder Olumara Camp oder Oloshaiki Mara Camp.
Tag 5: Masai Mara – Naivasha See
Frühmorgens Frühstück. Nach dem Frühstück verlassen Sie Masai Mara zum Lake Naivasha. Die Fahrt dauert ca. 5 Stunden bis zur Lodge, wo Sie rechtzeitig zum Einchecken und Mittagessen ankommen. Später am Nachmittag Pirschfahrt mit Besuch des Hells Gate Nationalparks, der Spaziergänge, Wanderungen, Fahrradtouren und Klettern ermöglicht. Am Abend können Sie eine Bootsfahrt auf dem See unternehmen, um verschiedene Vogelarten zu beobachten oder die Insel Crescent besuchen. Später Abendessen und Übernachtung in der Naivasha Sopa Lodge oder Naivasha Kongoni Lodge.
Tag 6: Naivasha See – Nairobi City
Frühmorgens Frühstück in Ihrer Lodge. Dann Check out und Fahrt nach Nairobi Stadt, Ankunft in der Zeit zum Mittagessen. Mittagessen im Carnivore und danach Rückfahrt zu Ihrem jeweiligen Hotel oder Flughafen gegen 15 Uhr.
Optional können unsere Kunden mit Flug nach Mombasa/Diani Beach um 14:00 Uhr zum Flughafen gebracht werden, um am Nachmittag zum Ukunda Airstrip oder zum Moi Airport (Mombasa) zu fliegen, wo Sie um ca. 16:30 Uhr ankommen. Dann Transfer zu Ihrem Hotel an der Küste.

Giorno 1: Nairobi – Aberdare
Un rappresentante della Marco Polo Safaris verrà a prendervi al mattino dal vostro hotel di Nairobi o dall’aeroporto e vi porterà da Nairobi ad Aberdare. Il viaggio dura 3,5 ore fino all’Aberdare Country Club dove farete il check-in e pranzerete. Dopo il pranzo, sarete trasferiti attraverso il parco di Aberdare al The Ark Lodge, che ha quattro ponti panoramici con balconi e salotti per consentire un’eccellente visione del gioco dal comfort del lodge. Gli animali vengono da te! Cena più tardi e pernottamento al The Ark Hotel.
Giorno 2: Aberdare – Lago Nakuru
La mattina presto, dopo la colazione, si lascia l’Aberdare per il lago Nakuru in un viaggio di 4,5 ore, a pochi metri lungo la linea dell’equatore verso il lato nord, l’acqua lì gira in senso orario. Verso il lato sud, gira in senso antiorario … semplicemente stupefacente. Si passa la scarpata della Great Rift Valley e si arriva in tempo per il pranzo e il check-in al lodge. Più tardi nel pomeriggio game drive attraverso il Lago Rosa, spesso chiamato così per le sue grandi masse di fenicotteri, ma attualmente a causa dei cambiamenti climatici e degli alti livelli d’acqua ci sono pochi fenicotteri da vedere, per non parlare dei famosi rinoceronti bianchi e neri che si trovano nel parco. Cena e pernottamento al Lake Nakuru Lodge o al Flamingo Hill Tented Camp.
Giorno 3: Lago Nakuru – Masai Mara
Colazione mattutina. Dopo la colazione, lasciate il lago Nakuru per il Masai Mara. Il viaggio dura circa 5 ore fino al cancello principale, passando per Narok Town, la famosa città Masai, e raggiungerete il campo o il lodge in tempo per il check-in e il pranzo. Fotosafari pomeridiano attraverso il parco alla ricerca di leoni, leopardi, elefanti, bufali e rinoceronti, che fanno parte dei Big Five, oltre ad altri animali. Cena e pernottamento al Fig Tree Camp o Olumara Camp o Oloshaiki Mara Camp.
Giorno 4: Masai Mara
Fotosafari mattutino prima della colazione e ritorno al campo per la colazione. Dopo la colazione, trascorrerete l’intera giornata nel parco con pranzo al sacco alla ricerca dei suoi abitanti popolari come i ben noti predatori e le loro controparti come la zebra, lo gnu, la giraffa, l’ippopotamo e i pericolosi coccodrilli con una visita al fiume Mara. Più tardi pasti e pernottamento al Fig Tree Camp o Olumara Camp o Oloshaiki Mara Camp.
Giorno 5: Masai Mara – Lago Naivasha
Colazione mattutina. Dopo la colazione si lascia il Masai Mara per il lago Naivasha. Il viaggio dura circa 5 ore fino al lodge dove si arriva in tempo per il check-in e il pranzo. Più tardi nel pomeriggio game drive con visita all’Hells Gate National Park, che offre passeggiate, escursioni, giri in bicicletta e arrampicate. La sera, fate una gita in barca sul lago per vedere diverse specie di uccelli o visitate Crescent Island. Più tardi cena e pernottamento al Naivasha Sopa Lodge o al Naivasha Kongoni Lodge.
Giorno 6: Lago Naivasha – Nairobi City
Prima colazione mattutina al vostro lodge. Poi il check-out e la guida verso la città di Nairobi, arrivando in tempo per il pranzo. Pranzo al Carnivore e poi ritorno al vostro rispettivo hotel o aeroporto intorno alle 15.
Opzionalmente, i nostri clienti che volano a Mombasa/Diani Beach possono essere trasferiti all’aeroporto alle 14:00 per un volo pomeridiano per Ukunda Airstrip o Moi Airport (Mombasa), arrivando intorno alle 16:30. Poi trasferimento al vostro hotel sulla costa.
