Le récif corallien, riche en espèces, offre un habitat à plus de 250 espèces de poissons telles que les balistes, les murènes, les poissons-anges, les rascasses ou les raies, ainsi qu’aux tortues vertes et imbriquées et aux dauphins.
Nous venons vous chercher à votre hôtel/maison tôt le matin, puis nous traversons les plantations de noix de coco et de canne à sucre pendant une heure jusqu’à la jetée de Shimoni. Nous payons les billets pour le parc marin, puis nous embarquons sur un boutre arabe et naviguons vers le parc marin de Kisite Mpunguti (1 heure et demie) pour faire du snorkeling (environ 2 heures) afin de voir différentes espèces de poissons colorés, des tortues de mer, des murènes dans l’eau bleue cristalline. Si vous avez de la chance, vous pourrez voir et nager avec les dauphins, que l’on trouve ici en grand nombre. L’île de Kisite est réservée à la plongée en apnée par le Kenya Wildlife Service. Vous pourrez y observer la diversité de la vie dans la mer. Plus tard, nous nous rendons sur l’île de Wasini où le poisson, les crabes et les algues sont servis avec du riz dans du jus de noix de coco. D’autres repas sont également disponibles sur demande. Après le déjeuner, faites une promenade sur l’île pour voir le village Wasini, le jardin de corail et l’école. Ensuite, vous embarquerez à bord d’un boutre arabe qui vous ramènera à travers les mangroves jusqu’à la jetée de Shimoni où notre chauffeur vous attendra pour vous ramener à votre hôtel/maison sur la côte, à l’arrivée à 16 heures.

Parc national marin de Kisite-Mpunguti
Le parc national marin de Kisite-Mpunguti est un parc national situé sur la côte sud du Kenya, près de la frontière avec la Tanzanie. Le parc national marin comprend le parc de Kisite, qui couvre 28 kilomètres carrés, et la réserve de Mpunguti, une zone marine de onze kilomètres carrés comprenant quatre petites îles entourées d’un récif corallien.

Wir bezahlen die Eintrittskarten für den Meerespark und gehen dann an Bord einer arabischen Dhau und segeln zum Kisite Mpunguti Meerespark (1 und eine halbe Stunde) zum Schnorcheln (ca. 2 Stunden), um verschiedene Arten von bunten Fischen, Meeresschildkröten, Muränen im kristallklaren blauen Meerwasser zu sehen. Wenn Sie Glück haben, können Sie Delfine sehen und mit ihnen schwimmen, die hier in großer Zahl vorkommen. Die Insel Kisite ist vom Kenya Wildlife Service zum Schnorcheln reserviert. Der Kisite-Mpunguti Meeres-Nationalpark ist ein Nationalpark an der Südküste Kenias in der Nähe der Grenze zu Tansania. Der Meeres-Nationalpark umfasst den Kisite-Park mit einer Fläche von 28 Quadratkilometer sowie das Mpunguti-Reserve, ein elf Quadratkilometer großes Meeresgebiet mit vier kleinen Inseln, die von einem Korallenriff umgeben sind.

Es gibt Höhlen mit Süßwasserquellen, deren Ursprung im über 200 Kilometer entfernten Kilimandscharo-Massiv angenommen wird.

Pagheremo i biglietti per il parco marino e poi salire a bordo di un dhow arabo e navigare a Kisite Mpunguti parco marino (1 ora e mezza) per lo snorkeling (circa 2 ore) per vedere diversi tipi di pesci colorati, tartarughe marine, murene nelle acque cristalline del mare blu. Se siete fortunati potrete vedere e nuotare con i delfini, che sono presenti in gran numero. L’isola di Kisite è riservata allo snorkeling dal Kenya Wildlife Service. We will pick you up from your Hotel/Cottage Early in the morning. Then drive through coconut and Sugarcane plantation a 1 hour drive to to Shimoni jetty. We will pay for your Marine park tickets and then board an Arabic dhow and sail to Kisite Mpunguti marine park (1 and half hours) for snorkelling (about 2 hours)to see different types of colourful Fish, Sea Turtles, moray eels in crystalline blue sea waters. If you are lucky you can see and swim with Dolphins, which are there in large numbers.Kisite Island is reserved for snorkelling by Kenya Wildlife Service. This is where you can see the diversity of life in the sea. Later we will drive to Wasini Island seafood which includes Fish, Crab and Sea Weed served with Rice in coconut sap. There are optional other meals on request. After lunch you will have an island walk to see the wasini village, coral garden and the school. Then board an Arabic dhow through the mangroves and back back to the Shimoni jetty where our driver awaits for you and transfer you back to your coastal Hotel/Cottage arriving at 4:00 pm

There are caves with freshwater springs whose origin is believed to be in the Kilimanjaro massif, more than 200 kilometres away.
