7 Days Kenya Special Safari
This Kenya Safari gives great insight into the diverse landscapes of Kenya, including the world famous bird sanctuary of Lake Nakuru.
The most popular game park, the Maasai Mara, with the high probability to see the "Big Five", as well as many other observations of all kinds.
To experience an extensive wildlife trail safari, this is exactly where the big wildebeest migration takes place, especially in July and August each year.
Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu Game Reserve
Pick up from your hotel at 07:30 and drive along the semi-arid scrubland of the northern border.
Arrival in Samburu will be at noon. After lunch we will go on a Kenya safari game drive to see local species such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevyzebra, and the Somali ostrich, which are rarely found elsewhere in the country.

It is an area where the locals have a rich and colourful heritage. The area has numerous permanent springs and an abundance of wildlife such as leopards, hippos, elephants, lions, net giraffes, grey zebras and crocodiles in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Over 365 bird species have been identified in the reserve.
Day 3: Samburu - Lake Nakuru National Park
After an early breakfast the departure to Lake Nakuru takes place. Your arrival there will be for lunch at your lodge, located directly in Nakuru National Park.
In the afternoon you will go on a game drive where you will have the opportunity to see leopards, rhinos and the famous pink flamingos as well as a variety of other wildlife.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Flamingo Hill Tented Lodge.
Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos and over 400 bird species.
The lake itself is a soda lake at the bottom of the Rift Valley. The sight of sometimes millions of flamingos is quite spectacular.
From a distance the lake appears pinkish red. The lake also has a reputation as an important retreat for endangered species, especially the Rothschild giraffe and the black and white Nashhörner.
It is also home to lions, waterbucks, buffalos and baboons.
Driving distance about 320km, driving time about 7h
